The 2007 Report of Princeton Project 55
We are proud to publish the 2007 Report of Princeton Project 55. We have had some exciting achievements during the past year, highlights of which include:
- 11% of the Princeton Class of 2007 applied for a year-long public interest fellowship through Project 55.
- 1,300 fellowships and internships have been awarded since our founding in 1989.
- 73 fellows are currently working in meaningful positions with nonprofit organizations. Twelve of these via our newest program, the Public Health Fellowship.
- More than 350 non-profit organizations have hosted our fellows and interns.
These results are due in large part to the generous support of donors, which enables us to continue in our mission to inspire and build civic leadership among alumni and students by engaging them in significant activities that influence and improve our society.
In the Report you will notice that Project 55 is led by a multigenerational board and volunteers from the classes of 1955 through 2007. Today we are seeking to spread the word about Project 55 to those alumni who may not be aware of it and to make them mindful of the opportunities it offers for satisfying engagement in both public service and the lives of young Princetonians. If you are not yet involved in PP55, we hope you will read this report on our accomplishments and consider getting involved.
