- Dr. Evangeline Franklin Visits Princeton
On Friday, February 22, Dr. Evangeline Franklin '76, MD, MPH, Director, Clinical Services & Employee Health and Emergency Preparedness Manager for the City of New Orleans, shared her harrowing experience as a victim of hurricane Katrina.
- Spotlight on a Fellow: Logan West
- Logan West ’07 graduated with a major in Geosciences and a minor in Italian. Originally from Little Rock, AR, he is currently a Project 55 Fellow working at Bethel New Life in Chicago. His reflections on being involved in the community and working for positive change are an inspiring glimpse into what the PP55 Fellowships are all about.
- Founders' Book Now Available for Order
- Princeton Project 55’s book of stories and reflections by PP55’s founders is now available for order, and is expected to mail by the end of April. Books cost $20 each and can be purchased by e-mailing Kim Hendler at khendler@project55.org.
- The Alumni Network (TAN) 2007 Conference
On Friday, November 30 at Princeton University, representatives of 13 TAN-affiliated organizations shuttled on foot for an all-day conference, finishing with a speech by Bornstein and closing remarks by TAN’s founding director Chet Safian.
- Assemblyman Herb Conaway Hosts NJ Fellows in Trenton
- On February 19, Princeton Project 55 fellows and friends were invited to the New Jersey State House in Trenton for a public health policy seminar hosted by Assemblyman Herb Conaway Jr., MD ’85 and coordinated by PP55 Board member, Anne-Marie Maman ‘84.
- Remembering Duncan “Terry” Sutphen
- Terry Sutphen, one of the original founders of Princeton Project 55 and deeply involved in the Princeton Community, passed away on 1 February 2008. He ran the PP55 office for several years, sat on the Board of Directors, and mentored many Fellows. He will be greatly missed.
- PP55 Announces Successful Launch of Project 55 Connect
- PP55 is excited about the possibilities offered by Project 55 Connect, an online application that was successfully launched last fall and has been successfully handling the fellowship application process ever since.

- The search for next year's fellows has begun!

- Many thanks to all of our wonderful volunteers who offered to interview fellowship candidates this year. We especially want to thank those volunteers who were able to make the trip to Princeton and interview in 2008.
